The house is built on a small plot located in a protected wooded area in the Landes region, in southwestern France. Its meticulous placement allows for the preservation of the existing trees on the site. The house features a “T” shape, consisting of two perpendicular wings. The north-south wing houses the living areas, while the east-west wing, slightly elevated to better integrate with the terrain, contains the bedrooms. The covered terrace, facing east, is sheltered from the sea breeze coming from the west.

The facades, constructed with masonry and covered with white stucco, rest on a sandblasted concrete base. The zinc roof, with its generous overhangs, provides shade for the outdoor spaces and improves summer comfort. The framework is made of natural wood from local species.
